Blog Header - Your thoughts?
Well, what do you think of the new header? We tried to outline a bit of the Indy skyline and and put that next to an outline of some beer bottles and glasses. Can you tell what it's supposed to be? I'd love to hear what you think.

Welcome to the blogosphere! Cool header, too. Looks like all the different kinds of beer bottles and glasses, no?
Thanks for adding me to your blog roll, but just a quick note that DIG-B is an acronym for my blog topics, so it's all capitalized. It's listed different ways all over the place, so no worries.
I really like the skyline idea. perhaps instead of outlining it to the side, make the big rounded rectangle a lighter shade and have a larger silhouette of the skyline (with harder edges) fill the bottom half of the header rectangle. Then maybe center the title text inside of the silhouette.
That is really cool. I need to make a better header, but I am not good with that stuff.
Thanks for the comments and ideas!
CorrND - Should be fixed, sorry for the error :)
Rodney - I'll play around with it when I get back to Indy this weekend.
Matt - I've got the luxury of having a wonderful and patient wife who is also a graphic designer who coached me through the design
Thanks for the comments!!
Welcome aboard, and thanks for linking us in your blogroll.
Like the banner, by the way.
Jim from Hoosier Beer Geek
I concur. The banner is nice.
"I like beer. A lot.
I don't like long reviews."
I'm guessing that Hoosier Beer Geek isn't your favorite blog then... :-)
Welcome to the beer blogosphere! Be sure to introduce yourself if you run into us.
Jim & Jason,
Thanks for the note! I'm a big fan of HBG. The local beer (and food) blogs(HBG, DIG-B, Matt, etc.) helped inspire me to go ahead and start one of my own.
I appreciate the kind words and the warm welcome from everyone.
Well I found you through the link on DIG-B and the first thing I noticed was the header. I really like it and very quickly understood what was going on there. This Hoosier beer community just keeps expanding.. and I like it!
