- Beck's is releasing a colorless beer in Germany. As I've said before, just because you can do something, it doesn't mean you should. The same article talks about a beverage for kids that looks like beer being released in Japan.
- For those of you who read "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell", looks like they're now making it a movie. Again, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Although I really enjoyed the dissertation on the McGriddle.
- Coors is ending their guided tours at the brewery, but you can still self guide through.
- Fat Tire is going to start canning their beers. Wonder if this will lead to more folks going this route (and if that will mean lower prices).

canning=cheaper distribution=cheaper prices I hope. But in reality it will probably just make it so breweries don't have to raise prices any more than they have because of the hops shortage.
There seems to be a shortage of everything other than people!
Matt - you're probably right about canning not having much of an impact on prices. Not only are hop prices a concern, but also fuel prices. It will be interesting to see how many other breweries get on the canning kick.
It also probably depends on how much the transition cost or acquisition cost for canning equipment is. With all "inputs" rising in price, cash flow will become an issue and that means less capital for re-investment.
